REPLACEMENT OF MAID

STRICTLY limited to ONE (1) TIME ONLY for the following categories:

  • A. Medically Unfit
    Free Replacement Allowed within one (1) month
  • B. Maid Runaway
    Replacement Allowed within three (3) months Guarantee Period
    In case of claim, employer has to pay the following charges:-
  • Maid Security Bond
  • New Maid’s Immigration Charges + FOMEMA Medical Fees + PA Insurance
  • New Maid’s Transportation Cost + Processing Fees
  • New Maid’s Advanced Salary
    1. The employer must provide ORIGINAL Passport, Immigration Compound Receipt (Security Bond) and, Police Report and Receipt .
    2. Maid who leaves the employer’s home due to whatever reason or cause and being recovered later, such case shall not be considered for the above claim.
  • C. Rejected Maid
    Replacement Allowed within three (3) months Guarantee Period
    In case of claim, employer must
  • consent to change of employer in order to seek replacement (Subject to approval by Immigration Dept.)
  • return the maid to Unicorn for change of employer purposes
    Also, employer is required to pay the following charges:-

    • New Maid’s Immigration Charges + FOMEMA Medical Fees + PA Insurance
    • New Maid’s Transportation Cost + Processing Fees
    • New Maid’s Advanced Salary
    • Replacement Fee for the new maid
    • Extra Charge if rejection is made within thirty(30) days
      • Replacement will be granted if the maid is found to be in a state of mental disorder, physical illness or health problem
      • Replacement will not be granted if rejection is based on maid’s working skill in cleaning, ironing, cooking etc.
      • Entitlement to replacement claim, employer must surrender the maid to Unicorn and it is the discretion of Unicorn to repatriate the maid or transfer to another employer before the replacement.
